Come Be a Part of the 2023 Summer Fediverse Game Jam!

Game Jams are an amazing way for creatives to work together on something cool, and hone their skills in the process. The goal is to work quickly over a brief period of time to make a simple, yet unique game.

This upcoming jam from Ategon (of Lemmy instance looks particularly exciting.

Welcome to the summer fediverse jam! This is a nine day game jam over the course of two weekends + a set of weekdays where you need to make a game according to a theme!

So far, 21 people have signed up to participate. There’s a straw poll to determine what the theme of the jam will be, with some pretty interesting ideas that might resonate with the fediverse:

  • Parallel Worlds
  • Connected Together
  • Unseen Forces
  • Fragmented
  • Consequences
  • The Greater Good
  • Break the Rules
  • Order and Chaos

I will be playing games live over at during the rating period to give developers live feedback and the top rated games will be showcased in a youtube video once the voting period ends. Feel free to also run your own streams if you want!
